Horrible experience. Went there for my partner's birthday, first we seen a great dane dog walking out the kitchen. Staff seemed very lazy, not bothered. After waiting 10 mins for them to top up the chicken, queued another 10 minutes for the food to be cooked, half of my food was burned. They not checking regular enough if something runs out we had to call someone for the rice too, just to find out rice is crunchy, uncooked. I asked if I could have my rice removed from my plate so I can replace it with something else, avoiding having to queue up again, after 3 minutes the guy come back with my plate saying the rice is definitely cooked, invalidating our opinion and said they can not remove it from my plate. I will not be returning ever.

Ignore the haters recently visited with a work party would visit again! “The food was a little slow” well if you stomach salmonella then that’s up to you hats off to the team good restaurant, good food and good service.

Food was excellent, basically you pick what you want from large selection Vegetables, meat, spices & sauce & chefs cook while you watch. Was very tasty. Service was a little slow appeared to be only 2 waiters & was very busy for Friday night. Would go again

Gluten free review: Jenkos is was an absolutely amazing experience. Though the staff weren’t super knowledgeable in the options for gluten free, they were able to bring out an allergens list for us. The gluten free options were clearly marked too. The staff were absolutely lovely, absolutely going back

First visit for a long time and not disappointed. All the meat you can eat, lovely veg selection, and the gravy is to die for. Even got a free drinks card for our next visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 👌😋😋

A great experience with the hot plate, took advantage of a cocktail offer which were very tasty. Also had deserts which again were lovely. Would certainly return for a second visit.

Made a booking for our anniversary meal in October and just had a phone call to say they were cancelling our reservation due to a large party wanting the whole restaurant to themselves. I wasn't given an option of a different time that day or even a form of compensation as our weekend plans were made around this reservation.

I had a Sunday dinner delivered, it took an hour and 40 minutes and two phone calls to get dropped off. Once it did finally arrive the food was cold, the carrots were rock hard like they'd only been boiled for a couple of minutes. The gravy was cold won't b ordering from there again

Had a good time at Jenko's. The food was really delicious and there were many spices and sauces to refine your selection from the buffet. The chefs at the grill were fast and friendly.
Only the lighting could be a bit brighter and the music at times felt a bit loud.

Lovely hidden gem! Visited today as part of a larger group doing work at the reserve next door. The food was delicious and the hospitality was great, such friendly service!

One of us found a dog hair in the food and we were basically accused of planting it. No apology and it took an hour or more for the manageress to resolve the issue. We ended up not paying anything and thought that was the end of it, until they put a message on the booking site accusing us of being professional scammers!!! We had been there 3 times before on a Sunday and had never had an issue. The customer service is despicable. We were prepared to pay for what we had eaten until the accusations started and the length of time it took to resolve. I even suggested they asked customers to keep dogs on a lead in the bar and to keep the food covered, to stop this happening again but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Only 2 of us really ate anything, my grandson tried the pasta, but it was hard, my daughter and her friend had chicken tikka but it was like reformed chicken and then their second plate was when they found the hair and everyone was then put off by eating any more food. I am attaching what they have written. I wasn't going to leave a bad review after they didn't charge us but because of the comments they have put I feel I have no choice. This is no way to treat customers!! Will definitely NEVER return which is a shame as until this we had always enjoyed the food but with that type of customer service they do not deserve our custom. Their food isn't cheap so their standards should be much better!!!

Mongolian BBQ with lots of choice -meat veg herbs spices sauces -can make dish to your own preferences. All you can eat and my companion had 3 helpings!!

Expencive for what it is... novelty cooking on the hot plate infront of you which is nice.. we've been twice now but it needs to be cheaper for us to go again.

What an amazing experience
The most delicious food we've eaten in years
Service was way beyond anything I've experienced in my 60 plus years on this planet
Our waitress is breathtakingly beautiful on the outside and that same level of beauty exudes from her
I wish I'd asked for her name
We arrived and I was on the verge of a massive anxiety attack
I was in a lot of pain, boiling hot and really couldn't wait to get out of there
Our waitress was very empathetic and couldn't do enough to try to make me comfortable
Physically and emotionally, she opened a window and got us both drinks
She offered to do a take away for us and she literally went through all the options available to us, which was pretty extensive
She promised to put our food together herself and get it cooked immediately
The level of genuine care and compassion she extended to me very quickly lifted my overwhelming need to run away and before I knew it I felt safe enough to ask my friend to let her know I'd like to stay and eat the food in the restaurant
I've never experienced anything like it before
The food itself was absolutely delicious, tender and juicy chicken (no mean feat when cooking chicken breast on a bbq
We're going back tomorrow for the carvery lunch and
I can't wait 😋
I hope she knows what a gifted young woman she is and how much she helped me tonight
She totally transformed my night
I will strive to pass on the gifts of peace and safety that she blessed me with
I know that if I can manage to do just 10% of what she did for me I will have done a good job and hopefully I'll have managed to pass on a little of the gifts I have been blessed with tonight

We visited at 7pm on a Friday night. It was a hot evening and the restaurant was fairly full. The choice of foods to stack up in the dish was great and there was two things that I was impressed with.... firstly, there wasn't buckets of food sitting around for the whole evening going "stale" there were small containers that were filled up regularly and that was the second thing. The meal I chose was then cooked and was delicious. It was very warm in the restaurant. The meal cost £23 + drinks. A good deal.

Not a patch on The Albion Inn at St Georges. Won't be back...most of the veg was cold, meat overcooked. Service poor.

Great food & great service! I requested to bbq the noodles along with the meat items (which is out of norm) and they were good enough to do so. I would highly recommend this place.
